2026 Coaches Clinic
Clinic Description
SBLL is excited to offer an in-person coaches clinic, designed to support coaches and volunteers working with our younger divisions — T-Ball, A, and AA (depending on interest). The clinic will be offered twice.
- Session 1: Friday March 27th 4:30pm-6:00pm
- Session 2: Sunday March 29th 10:00am - 11:30am
The training, run by Coach Ben Katz-Moses, will be a 90-minute interactive session focused on combining the essentials of baseball with the art of engaging and teaching young athletes. This will be a practical, hands-on learning experience with ideas, demonstrations, and discussion around how to run fun, effective practices and games. At the training you'll also receive materials covering:
- Sample Practice Plans
- Fun Practice Games/Activities
- Drills for Every Skill
- Game Manager Toolkit
There will be a Q&A to follow the training.
This is also a great opportunity for parents who may be considering coaching. SBLL hopes to use this as a way to give families the confidence, tools, and support needed to step into volunteer coaching roles — no prior coaching experience required.
If there’s interest, we may offer a similar training aimed at older division coaches and volunteers in the future.
