Spring Opening Day

We have South Boulder Little League’s Opening Day planned for Saturday, April 11. As with every year, the weather could be a factor so our contingency day is Saturday, April 18. We will keep this page updated on the Opening Day plans.
We have a fantastic day planned with something for everyone:
- Cheer on our Minors and Majors teams
- Sponsor giveaways (thank you, Subway!)
- Wiffle ball for younger players
- Fast pitch speed challenge
- Free hot dogs or enjoy treats from Snack Shack and Sweet Cow
- Free gear swap outside the Snack Shack (please bring gently used baseball gear or clothing to share and supervise players to ensure items are taken appropriately)
We’re excited to bring back our Home Run Derby, open to all Little League divisions (including Intermediate), and you do not need to be a Spring player to participate.
- Pre-registration: $15
- Day-of registration: $20
- Participation is limited, and this event is expected to fill up quickly to capacity—please register HERE early.
- If capacity is reached, no walk-ups will be allowed.
This fundraiser supports improvements around the A7 Fields, including a tree planting project in partnership with the City of Boulder. After registering, please visit our Colorado Gives page to complete your donation.

New this year, team photos are only scheduled for Majors and Minors Teams. The team photo schedule is below. If any Major or Minor player wants to order team or individual photo packages, the link is HERE.

Save the Date/ Plan Ahead!
Friday Night Lights: Friday, May 15 at Stazio Fields. Our SBLL Majors and Minors End of Season Tournament is scheduled! The tournament will begin with Friday Night Lights so join us for the kickoff under the lights. The tournament is a single elimination bracket leading up to the SBLL Championship Game on Sunday, May 17.
SBLL Championship Games: Sunday, May 17 at A7
NBLL and SBLL Interleague Championship Game: Tuesday, May 19 (Field TBD)
SBLL and Youth Parade at the Rockies: Sunday, June 7 at 1:10 PM. The Colorado Rockies and South Boulder Little League would like to invite all players, teams, and families to Coors Field to watch a Rockies game! All attending players and coaches can participate in the pregame parade around the warning track. South Boulder Little League will receive partial proceeds from each ticket sold, so share with your family, friends, and community! More information HERE!
